Who we are

StageRight AI ("StageRight", "we", "us"), operated from the United Kingdom, provides AI virtual staging software for UK estate agents and property developers at www.stagerightai.com. We are the data controller for the personal data described in this policy, which is written under the UK GDPR.

Information we collect

• Account details: name, email address and, where you provide them, company details.
• Content: property photos you upload, staged images you generate and, if you use optional voice instructions, short audio clips.
• Billing data: subscription and payment records. Payments are processed by Stripe; we never see or store your card details.
• Technical data: IP address, browser information and access logs used for security and to rate-limit the homepage demo.

How we use your information

We use your data to provide and improve the service: creating and managing your account, generating staged images from your uploads, handling payments and credits, responding to support requests, and keeping the platform secure. We do not sell personal data and we do not use your photos to advertise to others.

Lawful bases

We process your data to perform our contract with you (providing the service), for our legitimate interests (security, fraud prevention and service improvement), to meet legal obligations (tax and accounting records), and with your consent for optional features such as voice instructions.

Who we share data with

We share data only with the processors needed to run the service:

• Stripe, for payment processing. We never see or store your card details.
• Cloud hosting, database, authentication and file-storage providers operating from EU data centres.
• Specialist AI processing providers, which generate staged images (and transcribe optional voice instructions) on our instruction, solely to provide the service.

We may also disclose data where the law requires it.

Your photos and generated images

Uploaded photos and generated images are stored privately against your account. They are not shared with other users or made public, and you can delete them from your account at any time. You retain ownership of your photos and generated images, as set out in our Terms of Service.

Data retention

We keep account data while your account is active. Uploaded photos and generated images remain until you delete them or close your account. Billing records are kept for as long as tax law requires. Deleted content may persist in encrypted backups for a short period before being removed.

Your rights

Under the UK GDPR you have the right to access, rectify, erase, port, restrict and object to the processing of your personal data, and to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. Our GDPR Compliance page explains each right and how to exercise it.

International transfers

Your data is hosted in EU data centres. Some of our AI processors are based in the United States; transfers to them are protected by standard contractual clauses and equivalent UK safeguards. See our GDPR Compliance page for details.

Cookies and security

We use only strictly necessary cookies, described in our Cookie Policy. Data is encrypted in transit, access is restricted to your account, and we review our security practices regularly.

Children

The service is designed for business use and is not intended for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be notified to account holders by email or in the app.
